- Wash your hair and make sure it's clean.
- Use a curl booster spray on damp hair then dry it.
- Turn on your curling iron and while it gets heated, brush your hair thoroughly.
- Divide your hair into sections lengthwise.
- Tying your hair up once it's curled is difficult so tie it up before your start curling.
- Take each section of your hair and start curling it from bottom to about 3 inches below your roots.
- Hold it for around 20 seconds. This may vary with your hair type though, if the sections don't look very curly, hold it for longer.
- Using pins, secure the curled sections in the form of a bun.
- Let the loose curls be free and stick out of your bun.
- Let your curled bangs fall on your face.
- To keep your hair in place, apply hairspray and you're done!!
